Commercial washed Coffee

What is Commercial Washed Coffee

Washed coffee processing is similar to natural processing, but organic matter is stripped off of the coffee bean within days of the coffee cherry being plucked from the tree and then washed with water before they are dried. This removes any impurities and gives the coffee a cleaner taste.

Origins of Our Coffee

ethiopian coffee

Sidama Coffee

The Sidamo area in the country’s south produces both cleaned and unwashed coffee. The beans are medium in size and have a greenish/grayish tint. Washed Sidamo coffee is highly valued for its round cup, balanced acidity, and good quality Mocca flavor, which is sweet in taste and is an important component of government roasters mixes.

Limu Coffee

Limu coffee is well-known for its superb cup, sweet, spicy, winey flavor, and balanced body, and it is consequently highly sought after by many roasters, particularly in Europe and the United States. Washed Limu coffee is one of the world’s top gourmet coffees. The beans are medium in size, with a spherical shape and a greenish hue.

Guji Coffee

Guji is in the southern Ethiopian coffee-producing area of Oromia. Because of the temperature and acidic soil in this region of Southern Ethiopia, practically all of the coffee trees cultivated here produce coffee beans with outstanding fruity tastes and are also renowned for producing some of the highest-quality Ethiopian coffee beans. Although Guji is often offered in the Sidamo category, this rare batch of coffee beans is marketed individually to identify its outstanding flavor and body.

Yirga- chefe Coffee

Washed Yirga- chefe is a quality highland-grown coffee with good acidity, body, and outstanding mocca flavor and fragrance. These attributes account for its high demand and the high prices paid for it. Yirga-cheffe can also be used as a one-of-a-kind origin. This is cultivated at high elevations ranging from 2000 to 2200 meters.

Nekemti Coffee

Nekemti, also known as Nekempti, is a region within the state of Wellega, which is located in the excellent country region in Ethiopia’s southwest. In the region, Wellega encounters the Oromo, Ethiopia’s largest clan. Ranchers make up the majority of the Oromo population.

Harar coffee

West Arsi Coffee

This product, which comes from the West Arsi zone of the Sidamo producing region, is the classic washed Ethiopian coffee. This coffee, which was grown by small-scale farmers and processed at the coffee washing station, is bursting with citrus aromas and flavors of sweet lemon, maple syrup, and complex flowers. We put a lot of effort into offering the market premium coffee.
